Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and dependable Shipping Coordinator to manage the logistical operations behind our tradeshow exhibits and materials. This position plays a key role in ensuring that our shipments—ranging from custom booths to smaller more, portable displays—arrive on time, in excellent condition, and ready to make an impact on the show floor.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate Shipments: Manage all incoming and outgoing freight and parcel shipments for events and warehouse operations.
- Logistics Planning: Source FTL and LTL freight quotes, schedule carriers, maintain timelines, and ensure on-time deliveries for all tradeshow-related materials.
- Documentation Management: Prepare accurate shipping documentation including Bills of Lading, shipping labels, and return instructions.
- Vendor Coordination: Negotiate rates and service agreements with shipping partners and third-party logistics providers.
- Inventory Oversight: Receive, catalog, and store shipments with clear labeling and system updates.
- Issue Resolution: File freight claims, troubleshoot shipping delays, and implement proactive solutions to avoid repeat issues.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement efficiencies in shipping and logistics procedures.
- Team Support: Assist with communication tasks, phone coverage, and general operational support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience in freight shipping, logistics, or warehouse coordination (Tradeshow industry experience is a strong plus).
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Comfortable working with shipping software, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word), and inventory management systems
- A team-oriented attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving
